Alice Catherine Alice Catherine

I got to thinking recently that I haven’t shared much of my musical tastes on here – something which is a big part of my life, and has also inspired my outfit choices over the years (good, bad, and the ugly). The warmer weather always has an affect on the music I like to listen to, so I thought it might be nice to share a little Spring playlist with you guys. A word of warning, I’m pretty stuck in my ways when it comes to music, pretty much like my personal style, I tend to look back over the years rather than forward (there’s a few newish). Most of these are songs that are special to me in some way, and that I listen to over and over again at this time of year…

1) Otis Redding – Cigarettes & Coffee

2) Serge Gainsbourg – Les Sucettes

3) Beach House – Space Song

4) The Velvet Underground – Oh Sweet Nuthin’

5) Hinds – Holograma

6) The Kinks – This Time Tomorrow

7) David Bowie – Sound And Vision

8) Mac Demarco – My Old Man

9) The XX – On Hold

10) Neil Young – Harvest Moon

11) The Jesus And Mary Chain – Just Like Honey

12) The Ramones – Baby I Love You

13) Paul Simon – Diamonds On The Soles Of Her Shoes

14) Dusty Springfield – I Only Want To Be With You

15) Father John Misty – Real Love Baby

16) Kurt Vile – Wild Imagination

17) Stevie Nicks – Blue Denim

18) Blood Orange – You’re Not Good Enough

19) Tori y Moi – Empty Nesters

20) Whitney – No Matter Where We Go

21) Smith Westerns – Weekend

Hope you enjoyed my little Spring playlist and the summery photos I managed to snap last weekend – ideally, these are all the songs I’d have with me whilst laying in a sunny field somewhere in the middle of nowhere..
