I hope you’re all really well and that the month of busy old December isn’t stressing you out too much! So sorry for the inconsistency with blog posts lately – I’ve found that towards the end of the week is the only time I’ve had to sit down and get them together for you, so apologies that they seem to be coming all at once. I’ve just got back from a little seaside trip to Brighton so I’ve got lots of content that I’m excited to share with you, along with lots of festive bits and bobs that I’ve been working on behind the scenes…

Firstly, I wanted to share this look with you as it’s very much what my everyday attire has looked like for the past few weeks! Lots of denim, stomping boots, a giant trench coat, and some cosy knitted accessories for good measure (I do live in Manchester after all). This is a look I pretty much rely on when the weather is bad because I can easily mix it up with different hats/scarfs and footwear. It’s just one of those practical looks but the oversized elements somehow make me feel like a cool Scandi girl wandering the streets of Copenhagen…

The scarf was a kind gift from ME+EM – a brand that I’ve talked about quite a lot over the years, and continue to support with every new collection. They just make really chic pieces that feel both effortless and timeless – right up my street basically! They also happen to create the best scarfs ever. This one doubles up as a blanket when I’m travelling and I also have a simple navy/khaki design from last year. They are pricey for scarfs, but if you’re looking for something special then I couldn’t recommend their Cashmere designs enough…

This Ganni hat is also still available if you’re in the market for a beanie to see you through the harsh winter weeks. I picked this one up last year and they have since come out with an array of different styles/colours. It might sound silly but I find Beanie hats particularly hard to get right because of how they sit against my hair – this is one of the very few that I feel confident in, and it’s ideal for those days when you’ve run out of dry shampoo…
