I realised recently that I follow so many wonderful ladies, and get inspired by them daily – it only seems fair to share the love and give you a little run down of my faves. I’m going to turn this into a regular affair, in which I discuss all different kinds of women I’m currently inspired by and why – this could be related to music, fashion, Instagram, mental illness – absolutely anything. I hope you like the idea, as I feel that it’s something I’m going to really enjoy working on! Without further adieu, I thought I’d kick start things with a few of my favourite bloggers babes…
Pretty Little Fawn

I don’t think there’s an aesthetic I admire more than this lady’s! She makes that dreamy autumnal palette that we all lust after, a year long love affair. She styles lots of amazing denim pieces and keeps her outfits simple but elegant – a girl after my own heart!
Little Magpie
Amy Bell | Little Magpie | @little_magpie1
Possibly the cutest thing to grace my Instagram feed – always glowing (please share the secret), and making me lust after her ability to look good in every colour combination. Seems like the sweetest girl, and her captions always make me laugh – we always need more of this on the internet!
Shot From The Street
Lizzie Hadfield | Shot From The Street | @shotfromthestreet
A fellow Manchester blogger that I’ve met a couple of times now, always a pleasure and she’s always immaculately turned out! Lizzie is the queen of styling basics, and definitely makes you look twice at the pieces in our wardrobes we take for granted – she’s a great one to check out if you’re looking for ways to elevate that simple white T-shirt or a pair of high waist jeans. She also has the most beautiful blog full of film photography and personalised annotations – one of my favourites to scroll through!
Sophia Rosemary
Sophia Rosemary | @Sophia_rosemary
Fellow Instagram twinny and a now a good friend of mine too – we both share the same love for vintage, 60’s/70’s attire, fringes, and a good liquid liner. It’s great to have someone in the same city who’s living similar experiences – her style (and hair) are also wonderful! She’s somebody else that inspires me to wear more colour on a regular basis, and is as genuine/down to earth as the writing on her blog!
Okay Andie
Alexandra Spence | Okay Andie | @okayandie
One of my all time favourites and someone I’ve followed since I can remember having Instagram. Alex has the most perfect style and her photography is always beautiful – she’s also someone who openly discusses both mental illness and anxiety, which always encourages me to be brave enough to do the same. She also has the cutest little pup called Gus and lives in Toronto (somewhere I’m itching to visit) – what’s not to love?
What Olivia Did
Liv Purvis | What Olivia Did | @livpurvis
Olivia is another one I’ve followed since what feels like the beginning of time – her colourful/Wes Anderson inspired imagery never ceases to inspire me. I’m in constant awe of her flat lays and general creativeness when it comes to her blog content. I had the pleasure of meeting her recently and she was just as lovely as I imagined. She is definitely someone I look up to career wise, and has a silly sense of humor which I am always an advocate for – someone who can make me laugh is always a winner with me!
All imagery taken from the credited sites!

I am so honored to be included in this group. Not only do I feel strongly about your blog (I think I’ve read every post in the last few months) but I love all the other ladies included in the post! I think we’d make a really cool gang if we ever got the chance!
Great recs. Would have liked to see a bit more diversity though!
This is just the first post of many as mentioned, I would have been there for hours otherwise! I’m sure you’ll see a range of wonderful ladies over the course of the series, naturally I’m drawn to a certain aesthetic because of my personal style/taste, doesn’t mean I don’t appreciate those that stray from that 🙂 x
Fantastic! Looking forward to seeing more in this series :). As a woman of color, I just like to give a little nudge to highlight possible blindspots 😉 It’s not meant as an accusation or anything.
Beautiful inspirations!

this is such a lovely idea and girls supporting other girls is so important!
I’ll keep an eyes for those articles
Thank you! Glad you like the concept, looking forward to writing more of them 🙂 x
