Every year I get excited about adding a few new autumn/winter pieces to my wardrobe – I love ‘window shopping’ online, making wish lists, and comparing pieces that I’m lusting after. I’m not much of an impulse shopper anymore, I much prefer to dwell on pieces for a few weeks to see whether it’s just something pretty that caused an instant reaction, or whether it’s something that will truly stand the test of time in my wardrobe…

Sandro Paris are one of the brands I look forward to checking in with the most at this time of year – they do the most delicious knitwear that tend to be on the ‘dresser side’ side of things. For instance, the gorgeous v-neck jumper that I’m wearing here is a great example of the type of knitwear I’d wear to dinner with some tailored trousers and heeled loafers…

It’s a wool & cashmere blend which means it’s super soft and cosy but still feels light enough for the evening time! I think it’s safe to say we are all in for a very different kind of festive experience this year, but this is the type of fail-safe piece that can be quickly dressed up or down. Sandro do this kind of preppy knitwear style really well – I’ve linked some of my favourites below…

I’m also very smitten with this ‘Yza bag’ from the new collection – I hate that I’m someone who’s mood can be altered by a great bag, but alas, there are parts of my brain that react positively to throwing a beautiful bag over my shoulder when the worlds feels otherwise quite miserable and gloomy. I think it’s the bright tan colour that makes this bag feel so luxurious and chic! It really brightens up any outfit and I enjoy wearing a bag like this during the day with a more casual outfit because it feels like an interesting juxtaposition…

It comes in quite a few different styles – including a fun tweed style that I’ve linked below, along with my top picks from the current Sandro Paris accessories!
