Alice Catherine Alice Catherine

After my recent ‘brands to inspire’ post, I got lots of messages asking about other brands that I admire, particularly on the high street. As many of you will know by now, I love my vintage clothing and my outfits are usually a mix of high street, vintage, and the odd higher end piece. I don’t like spending a crazy amount on my outfits, but I do like to invest in those luxury items now and then, usually the pieces that I know I’ll wear and love forever. With that in mind, I thought I’d give you a little insight into the high street brands I’m loving at the moment, and the pieces that have been catching my eye…

So there you have it – all my recent top picks from my favourite high street brands! I’d definitely recommend making wish lists if you’re feeling in a bit of a rut with your wardrobe. This was actually really helpful for me to analyse once I’d finished because I could look back and pick out the pieces that were similar and compare which I liked best. I prefer to shop like this online rather than just adding a load of things to my basket and ending up with lots of things I don’t need. There’s definitely some strong/unintentional themes here too – lots of pastel blues, polka dots, gingham, and ruffle blouses it would seem. I’m really into mules at the moment too – I think they are the perfect Spring/Summer shoe, and instantly make a look more put-together and stylish. The Urban Outfitters (by Vagabond) ones above are also a great dupe for some ByFar ones that I’ve had my eye on, but for a fraction of the price! Anyway, I hope this was helpful in some way – what are your thoughts on the pieces I picked out? Would love to know which ones you are lusting after most in the comments below…
