There’s been quite a few cooler days here in Manchester recently – which I’ve actually been thankful for! It’s the perfect opportunity to layer up a simple slip dress and dig out the ankle boots. As much as I love sandals and summery shoes, they can make your outfits seem a bit boring and repetitive after a while. Hence, why I’m looking forward to the seasonal changes that the next few months have in store…

A simple, black, long sleeve top is a staple for every wardrobe, no matter what your style preferences are. It matches with pretty much everything and instantly makes an outfit look more interesting when layered underneath. I  love this little vintage slip dress I stumbled across, it’s such a delicate polka dot pattern, and looks lovely with a denim jacket! I’ll definitely be wearing it with tights and a crop jumper when it gets too cold to have bare legs. I think this look would also be ideal for work wear or for those of you heading back to school/uni – it’s mega comfortable and looks put together. Everything is vintage other than the boots, but I’ve scouted out some pretty good alternatives below for you in case you fancy recreating something similar.
